VIRGINIA BOUND!
Hey everyone, I’m back! I know that's a total surprise seeing that I’m posting again and I’m sure that ya’ll are expecting a very lengthy entry filled with fun adventures dealing with the Daytime Emmy Awards and great moments around the GL set here and around town. I will be getting to that shortly but this entry is about an even MORE EXCITING EVENT that’s coming up shortly and it's a total CAN’T MISS EVENT!
It’s that time again for the CBS “SUPERSTAR WEEKEND” down at Paramount’s Kings Dominion in Richmond, Virginia. The exact date that this will take place is Saturday the 10th of June and Sunday the 11th. That’s right, we are not only extending the event from one to two days this year but guess what??? CBS is bringing along “As the World Turns” too this year. Two shows this time means double the days, double the fun, double the amount of performers from your favorite network, double the amount of actors to meet, and maybe even perhaps double the amount of trouble to get into LOL! I have to let ya’ll know that we (both CBS shows) are already so excited about coming down again especially after the GREAT experience and WARM welcome we received last year from everyone. For all of you who did go to this event last year, you know exactly what I am talking about. For you newcomers or those on the fence about going, you need to go and experience what a great time it will be! CBS is doing the exact same format as was done last year but I have been assured that when it comes to the meet and greets/autograph signings, things will be a lot smoother and the actors will be more accessible. Now that I think about things, CBS and Paramount’s Kings Dominion are just giving MORE all around.
On a personal note, Virginia is my hometown as some of you know, so you can imagine how excited I am to be going back down again. Here’s where I really need your help! I have been telling my friends from ATWT how much fun this event was and hyping up how much there is to do down there and I would hate to disappoint my friends and even my colleagues here from the “LIGHT”. I would love to have as many of you as possible not only show up either day if not both days, but tell your friends to come too and just have a blast with us, the more the merrier! CBS and Paramount is giving more so it would be great for all of you to do the same…all you have to do is just show up, LOL! For more information about this great weekend adventure (or perhaps getaway for some) just go to www.cbs.com, click on the daytime icon and follow the prompts to either show (ATWT of GL). You’ll find a site devoted to just this “SUPERSTAR WEEKEND” with all the details and even some pictures from last year's event. For those of you traveling a great distance for this, there are plenty of Hotels near to the park so it won’t be a problem for accommodations to stay the night if that’s what you’re hoping to do.

Wow sounds like a lot of fun. It's too bad it's not closer for me like Cedar Point in Sandusky, OH or even Paramount Kings Island in Columbus, OH. I will have to keep my eyes out for those events if they ever come.
I'm sad that I will have to miss the one in VA in June, but there is just no way for me to get out there and participate. I've never done anything like that before and the thought is quite interesting. Hopefully the next time or a closer event.
Have a lot of fun and enjoy yourself with all your screaming, adoring fans :)

Hey John! I was reading some of your older Blogs about how you wanted ideas for your room. In my room I have one wall which is painted a kind of red that's kinda dark but not real dark and my other three walls are white. It's really warm and comfortable. Just trying to throw some ideas out there for ya. You may have already decorated your room by now, but incase you haven't there's an idea lol.

I am friends with Darlene I wanted to ask you if you could get me a signed poster of you and the Guiding Light Cast for my Grandmother for Christmas. She has taped and watched the show ever since it came on TV. Now that you are on she said you were her favorite. My grandmothers health isn't very good and I know it would make her Christmas if you could do that! I will pay for it if need be! Please Help!

wow the fact that you have this blog is quite convenient and impressive.
By way of introduction, my name is Amanda, and I met your brother last week at the First Market Bank in Richmond, VA. He actually called you with me standing there, I'm the favor he asked you about, lol. I'm actually a UR business graduate who got a job in Manhattan and will apparantly be your neighbor very soon.
He spoke very highly of you, and I was curious to see if your profile stacked up to everything he said, and let me tell you- it's even more impressive than I imagined.
Anyway, I wanted to thank you for agreeing to show me around, I'm not sure if your brother mentioned but I'm from Canada and don't know anyone in NYC, not to mention, I have no idea about geography and would like to find Central Park, lol. I'm actually training for the NYC triathalon, and really need to find areas I can swim and cycle, which seems to pose a challenge living in Manhattan, but I'm hoping you would have some advice. Not to mention the fact, that having a friend there would be nice:)

I lost your Myspace address so, I am posting a comment here. Hope you see it. My husband Bill and I met you at the Guiding Light Gala in Naples Florida last May. I just wanted to tell you that we saw you and Sarah at the Emmy awards on TV. Tell Sarah that we looked for a yellow dress just like she said and that's how we found you in the audience. You both looked great!
By the way, we haven't been seeing much of "Coop" lately on GL. We miss seeing you. Hope your storylines get put on the front burner soon.

I have been trying like heck to get a letter to you. I believe your birthday just passed. I wrote it down after meeting you on marco Island(incase you remember the book thing, may trigger cuz you did seem to recognize me the next year)but wasnt sure if it was June 26 or July 26. I want to send you a small birthday present that I feel very confident you will like although not at a great cost. I am sure that doesnt matter because I had a genuine feeling that you are just a good hearted person, who happen to act for a job and also does it extremely well. I think you know this is not a ploy for personal information because I am not looking for anything other than a MAILING address. I had to work this past Marco event so no seeing you or the rest. I hope your girlfriend is well and she was very sweet too, let alone beautiful. In closing, I hope you know you always have a huge fan here, who shows support any chance he gets.
